iSkate Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to iSkate — The All-In-One Skateboarding Companion App, made by skaters for skaters. Users can save and view SkateSpots on the SkateMap, keep track of tricks with the TrickList, and post skate clips and pics.

2. User Accounts

To use iSkate, you must create an account using your email or phone number, provide a username, password, and birthdate. Users must be at least 15 years old to register. Accounts for users under 15 are not allowed.

3. User Content

Users may post photos, videos, comments, and skate spots. You agree not to upload or share content that is offensive, explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion. By uploading content, you grant us the right to reuse or feature your content for promotional or editorial purposes.

4. Payment and Plans

iSkate is currently free to use. In the future, we may introduce premium plans with additional features. We will notify users in advance of any changes related to pricing.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You are prohibited from using iSkate to post or promote any content involving hard drugs, abuse, violence, or behavior that harms others. We allow culturally acceptable behavior such as smoking or skating in urban environments but reserve the right to moderate all content.

6. Updates

We regularly release updates to improve the app. These updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements, or new features. Continued use of the app after updates indicates your agreement to the revised Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, features, and other assets within iSkate are the exclusive property of Dirty Attic. Users may not copy, reuse, or redistribute any part of the app without explicit permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. This includes but is not limited to: posting harmful content, impersonation, spam, or violating age requirements.

9. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

iSkate is a community-driven platform where users may post and share real-world SkateSpots. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Skateboarding involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. You engage in skating at your own risk and are solely responsible for your actions.
Dirty Attic and iSkate do not verify, monitor, or endorse any SkateSpot listed in the app. We make no guarantees about the safety, legality, or condition of any location.
You are responsible for complying with all local laws, ordinances, and private property rights. Trespassing or illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dirty Attic, its creators, partners, and affiliates from any liability, injury, damages, claims, or expenses arising from your use of SkateSpots or any actions related to them.

By using the app, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. Any legal disputes must be resolved in Pennsylvania jurisdiction.
